This most famous phrase from the Declaration of Independence which established the United States in 1776 still shines as a beacon of hope down the years.  Life, yes everyone deserves to live.  Liberty (now referred to as freedom) of course yes but remember one person's freedom fighter is another person's terrorist.

Perhaps the biggest casualty of a divorce is the loss of what can be called "the illusion."  It's the illusion that "that divorce (like cancer) happens to other people but not to us." 

Divorce is a time like no other for its ability to make us do the most unpleasant things to each other as well as the most inappropriate.  Couples who have ‘fallen out of love' or ‘grown apart' can, almost overnight, fight to the death over the visiting arrangements for their children.
