A website has been launched by two relationship experts who are aiming to reduce the world's divorce rate.
Sonny Walia and Patrick M Powers set up EternalLoveQuest.com following research by Grant Thornton which shows that the main causes for divorce in countries such as the UK and Canada are extramarital affairs, family strains, emotional and/or physical abuse, a mid-life crisis and addictions such as gambling or alcoholism.
Through their site, Walia and Powers intend to show people how to achieve a long-lasting marriage via informative products such as e-books and audio advice, as well as by getting couples who are happily married to share how they have maintained have a successful relationship.
Mr Walia said: "The campaign is to aid the increasing divorce rate around the world. We are also looking for couples that have been happily married or been together for more than 25 years.
"We want to interview them about how they have kept their love alive, how they handled family problems, etc. Basically, we want to know everything they have done to create a successful relationship.
"With divorce rates skyrocketing, we feel that the information these couples have in their shoes could make a major difference to other couples who needs help on their relationships."
