When they tied the knot in 1980, American teenagers Karen and Mark Cline knew that they didn't have enough money for the photographs of their big day but they didn't suppose that it would be such a long time before they eventually got to see them. 27 years, to be precise.
Mr and Mrs Cline were aged 18 and 19 when they got married, and having just bought a house they were unable to afford the £150 it would cost to develop their wedding photos.
So, photographer Jim Wagner kept the negatives in a box in his loft, where they remained until last week after he bumped into the bride's stepfather.
"About a month ago, I was just cleaning out some of my old things and I found it. I knew she didn't have any money back then, and I just thought she might like to have it," Mr Wagner, 80, told the Associated Press.
As a very special surprise, he placed each of the photographs in an album and presented Mrs Cline with it at the diner where she works.
She said: "I just stood there and cried and cried and hugged him
