Anyone who is planning a second marriage and is looking for somewhere that is a bit different as a wedding venue may be interested to learn of a new location that has been made available in South Africa.
Johannesburg's Chapel Garden is located in the city's Botanic Gardens and has recently been transformed so that it can now accommodate up to 80 bridal parties over a weekend.
The beautiful setting is complemented by the Sima Eliovson Floreum and the Rose Garden, which can be used for receptions and for photographs respectively, the Johannesburg News Agency reports.
In addition, the garden features trees and flowers which are indigenous to South Africa, as well as footpaths, benches and an alter, which are all available to wedding parties. Although a booking fee has yet to be confirmed for weddings at the Chapel Garden, it has been determined that weddings must be booked 21 days in advance.
A simulated wedding took place on Friday, October 5th to officially open the venue, which was attended by Luther Williamson, the managing director of Johannesburg City Parks, as well as event organisers and businesses connected with the wedding industry.
