Renee has 'big crush' on Macca

US actress Renee Zellweger has admitted that she finds Sir Paul McCartney very attractive.

The Bridget Jones star has revealed that she fancies the former Beatle and that she thinks her pals may have let slip the secret of her "big crush" to the 65-year-old, although she hasn't spoken to him about it herself.

In recent weeks the couple have been seen out together on various social occasions, including after a Tom Petty concert last month in New York and at a restaurant on August 30th.

This had led to speculation that the 38-year-old is in fact in a relationship with the singer.

Sir Paul has attempted to quash these rumours, saying: "We're not dating. We're in the same group of friends and that's it," the World Entertainment News Network reports.

Nonetheless, Zellweger said: "I do have a big crush on Paul McCartney. I feel quite embarrassed saying it because I haven't even told him yet!"

"I've told my friends and I think they might have told him. Well I guess if he doesn't know he will find out now."
