'Quickie' divorces increasingly popular

An online divorce provider that specialises in quick proceedings has handled its 50,000th case.

Quickie Divorce has only been operating for four years, but it has become the largest web-based divorce agency in the UK. Yesterday (Thursday) the firm announced that it is planning to "substantially" expand its work force as a result of the vast number of couples who approach it looking for a separation.

The firm's director Martin Baker commented: "Quickie Divorce has established itself as an unrivalled service provider of uncontested divorces in the UK in a very short period of time.

"We are experiencing robust growth ever since the company was founded. The recent completion of our 50,000th divorce case shows the tremendous popularity we enjoy and the trust our customers' faith in us.

"Consequently, it has become necessary for us to hire more staff and expand our capabilities so as to offer our clients the same level of customer service and professionalism that Quickie Divorce is known for."

The majority of cases handled by Quickie Divorce are completed within 12 to 16 weeks.
