No re-marriage for George Clooney

US actor George Clooney will never get married again, because the pain of going through a divorce has put him off for life.

That is according to his cousin Miguel Ferrer, who has asserted that the former ER star will not have a second marriage as a result of the grief caused by going through a marital separation with actress Talia Balsam.

Ferrer revealed that although lots of other people marry and start a family, Oscar-winner Clooney is sure that he doesn't need to do either to be happy, the World News Entertainment Network reports.

He said: "He's been married once before and swears he'll never do it again. So many people wind up with children or getting married who have no business doing it.

"He knows himself well enough to know that's not what he wants in his life. He's got to trust himself."

Clooney, 46, was married to Balsam for four years from 1989 to 1993. He recently started dating former waitress Sarah Larson.
