Natalie Portman's marriage fears

US actress Natalie Portman is not sure whether she will ever get married because she doesn't think that it means all that much any more.

The Star Wars beauty is "not convinced about marriage" because of the fact that same-sex unions are not legal in the States and divorce is "easy".

At present, gay marriages are only legal in Massachusetts and Wisconsin.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, she said: "I'm not convinced about marriage. Divorce is so easy, and that fact that gay people are not allowed to marry takes much of the meaning out of it.

"Committing yourself to one person is sacred."

Portman, 26, is currently in a relationship with fashion designer Nathan Bogle. She has previously been romantically involved with Gael Garcia Bernal and Jake Gyllenhaal. Portman has also been liked to Adam Levine, the frontman of pop group Maroon 5 and Nat Rothschild, of the multi-billionaire banking family.
