Sir Paul McCartney may be going through a rather difficult divorce with his second wife Heather Mills, but the former Beatle has revealed that there are ways in which to cope with a marital separation.
The former Beatle uses music as a way to make himself feel better as he and ex-model Mills battle it out.
Speaking to the Chicago Tribune, he explained that he tries to get on with life as best he can and that music is a big help to that end.
He said: "I just try to keep my head down and get on with my music. That's the great thing, the great healer. I'm trying to make an antidote."
In addition, Macca also said that his daughter Beatrice, four, finds photos of him when he was younger very bemusing.
"It's kind of spooky. She sees old pictures of me, lets say in the Beatles, and she'll say, 'That's Daddy when he was different'. I love that. It's a great way of looking at it. And I suppose it's how I feel."
McCartney and Mills separated due to "irreconcilable differences" in 2006.
