A make up artist who is missing and presumed dead had been going through divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, it has been claimed.
Diane Chenery-Wickens has not been seen for over a week and her husband David has being questioned by police on suspicion of her murder.
According to the Daily Telegraph, close friends of the couple said that they had been going through a divorce for three years and were on the brink of finalising their legal separation when Ms Diane Chenery-Wickens disappeared.
The makeup artist had worked on several well known BBC programmes, including Dead Ringers, The League of Gentlemen and Casualty. Mr Diane Chenery-Wickens, from East Sussex, reported his wife missing on January 24th. He was arrested on Thursday, January 31st and released on bail on Sunday, February 3rd.
Ms Chenery-Wickens, 48, has not been seen since she journeyed by train from East Grinstead to London for a meeting at the BBC, after which she was due to meet her husband.
