Mills expects ?25m settlement from Macca

Heather Mills is reportedly expecting to be granted a divorce settlement of £25 million from Sir Paul McCartney.

The ex-model and animal rights campaigner is asking for a sum much smaller than the speculated figures of £100 million to £200 million and is confident she will get it, according to the Daily Mirror.

A source told the paper: "Heather's side predict a walkover. Two hundred million pounds is way off the mark and has never been Heather's target.

"The real figure she has in mind is most definitely £25 million, no more, no less. Heather is convinced that she and Paul are close to a settlement and agreeing this sum.

"It is just a matter of time before the paperwork is completed and she walks away a millionaire."

The 39-year-old married the Beatles legend in 2002 but they separated four years later and in October 2006 McCartney filed for divorce from Mills.

The couple have one daughter together, Beatrice Milly.
