Mel B sets second wedding date

Spice Girl Melanie Brown is set to stage a second wedding with husband Stephen Belafonte later this year.

The couple originally married in a low-key ceremony last June, after eloping to Las Vegas, with friends apparently disappointed that they were not invited.

Now Closer has reported that they plan to stage a full-blown, celebrity-attended event after the pop outfit's current tour ends in April.

A source told the magazine: "Mel wants all of her and Stephen's family to be at this wedding."

Mel B's relationship with Belafonte represents her second marriage after divorcing previous husband Jimmy Gulzar in 2000.

Late last year Gulzar filed for custody of their nine-year-old daughter, Phoenix, while Brown was also involved in a paternity dispute with actor Eddie Murphy over her second child Angel.
