Marriage is definitely on the cards for Joel Madden and Nicole Richie, the Good Charlotte frontman revealed during an interview.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio programme the singer revealed that he and his pregnant girlfriend were thinking about tying the knot.
"Obviously, marriage is in our future," the 28-year-old said, before adding that for the time-being their priority is their impending parenthood.
"That's all we've been thinking about," he admitted. "We are in love and are really happy."
Richie revealed she was four months pregnant during an interview with Diane Sawyer in July of this year. She has faced public scrutiny in the last year over both her dramatic weight loss and an arrest for driving under the influence.
She said during the interview she has changed her ways since discovering she was pregnant. "Besides being responsible for myself, I'm now responsible for someone else. And I have to set the right examples."
Richie has been engaged before, to DJ Adam Goldstein, while Madden split from singer and actress Hilary Duff in 2006 after two and a half years together.
