Madonna to renew her wedding vows?

Mega popstar Madonna and her husband Guy Richie are going to have a second wedding ceremony later this year to reaffirm their love for each other.

That is according to the News of the World, which has claimed that the US singer and 39-year-old director Richie are going to celebrate their seven-year-union with an intimate ceremony at their home in Wiltshire.

It is thought that the special occasion will be held during the summer and will only be attended by close friends and family, including the couple's three children. Madonna's daughter Lourdes is said to be preparing a reading, as is actress and celeb pal Gwyneth Paltrow.

In addition, it has been claimed that fashion designer Stella McCartney will create a "wedding outfit" for Madonna to wear for the ceremony. The couple first tied the knot in December 2000 and have been the subject of various media rumours, particularly surrounding the difficulty of their adoption of two-year-old Malawian boy David.

"Renewing their vows is the one way Guy and Madonna can show the world they are strong. They've worked hard to iron out their differences to get through the tough times," a source is quoted as saying.

"It's going to be a very emotional day and that's why they want the people who are closest to them to share it with them. They know a strong marriage takes constant effort."
