Linda Hogan 'can support herself'

Hulk Hogan has issued his response to the divorce petition filed by his wife of 24 years, Linda.

The wrestling star, real name Terry Bollea, has contested his 48-year-old wife's requests for primary custody of the couple's 17-year-old son and child support.

The Hulk, 54, is claiming that Linda is able to support herself financially and contribute towards the financial maintenance after divorce of their son Nick.

He has also said that Nick, who is currently facing charges for reckless driving after a friend was left in a coma following a crash, should be allowed to choose where he wants to live.

"It's all going to get worked out," the muscle-man's lawyer, Ann Loughridge Kerr, told the Associated Press, but gave no further details.

The couple and their children, Nick and 19-year-old daughter Brooke, have recently been appearing in television reality programme Hogan Knows Best.

Celebrity website TMZ has claimed that Linda and Hulk had been heading for a divorce and even filmed some of the last series of their TV show having already split.
