For many married couples in Japan, talking clearly isn't their strong point, as a new survey has revealed that almost 40 per cent have less than 30 minutes of conversation every day.
The research, conducted Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co, questioned 1,200 married people and found that 30 per cent of people who speak to their partner for such a small amount of time are no longer in love.
It was also found that those in their 40s are the worst communicators, with 54 per cent talking to their spouses for less than half an hour every day.
The data also shows that more wives than husbands in Japan are considering a divorce, Reuters reports.
Women who complained about their husbands said that they drank and smoked too much, while the men who moaned about their wives said that they were messy, bad in the kitchen and that their appearance had changed for the worse.
