Jennifer Lopez has denied rumours that her marriage to Marc Anthony is in danger of coming to an end.
The singer, more commonly known as J-Lo, is said to have been arguing with her third husband and the pair have been to see a marriage guidance counsellor, according to US OK! magazine.
Representatives for the pair told the New York Daily News that they "are consulting lawyers" over the allegations, which have been deemed "a disgusting story full of lies".
A source reportedly told the magazine that Marc is a "controlling" and jealous man and that the relationship is making Lopez feel suffocated.
"Marc dragged Jennifer away after spotting her dancing with another man…He has also insisted that Jennifer sell her beloved Miami home and the Los Angeles house where they wed," they said.
However, a friend of the couple has come to their defence, telling the newspaper: "I don't get a whiff of trouble."
Lopez's first marriage was to Cuban Ojani Noa in 1997 and the pair divorced in 1998. She then wed her former dancer Chris Judd in 2001 but they were divorced less than a year later. The 37-year-old has been married to her current husband since June 2004.
