British actor Hugh grant has revealed that his single status is something of a worry to him, and that he would like to get married.
The 46-year-old is worried about finding the right woman and settling down, although he admits that commitment is still a relatively scary prospect to him, the Daily Telegraph reports.
He told the paper: "It's true that my age sometimes worries me. Each birthday is an almost unpleasant date.
"I told myself that being single in your 30s is fine. But at 46 it's a bit worrying.
"I would like to get married but at the same time I'm horrified by those couples that I see around me and the lack of affection and passion that can result from the passing of time."
Hugh was in a relationship with Jemima Kahn for three years, but the pair separated in February. He was previously involved with Liz Hurley, who wed Indian businessman Arun Nayar in March this year. Hugh is godfather to her four-year-old son Damien.
