Heather Mills to sue former divorce lawyers?

Heather Mills is planning to sue her former divorce lawyers, media reports have suggested.

The model turned animal rights activist is planning to sue Mishcon de Reya for giving her bad advice in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney. This is despite Ms Mills reportedly owing the firm £2 million in unpaid fees.

Mishon declined to explain why it parted ways with Mills, 40, but it is thought that it was largely as a result of her constant outbursts about Beatles legend McCartney and his family in radio and television interviews.

The Evening Standard quotes a source as saying: "There is a possibility of Heather Mills counter-suing. Whatever she owes Mishcons - whether its £1 million or £2 million - one would have expected her to get something for it and one fails to see what they [Mishcons] got her.

"There has been no divorce settlement and no outcome over all this time so draw your own conclusion as to the service she received from Mishcons."

Mills and McCartney, who have a four-year-old daughter, are preparing to enter a five-day court hearing which will decide the size of Mills' financial settlement.
