Heather Mills parts company with divorce lawyers

The divorce lawyers of Heather Mills have confirmed that they are no longer going to represent her

The divorce lawyers of Heather Mills have confirmed that they are no longer going to represent her.

Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife has parted company with law firm Mishcon de Reya and as such, she is currently representing herself. Unless she accepts the offer McCartney has made to her then they will go to trial in February.

A spokesman for Mishcon confirmed today (Friday, November 9th) that they are no longer representing the animal-rights activist but they did not reveal who sacked whom or why.

Mills has recently given a number of radio and television interview in which she has criticised McCartney, his family and the press.

She has since parted company with her media spokesman Phil Hall.

The 39-year-old married former Beatle McCartney in 2004 and they have a four-year-old daughter together called Beatrice.

They separated in May 2006, citing "irreconcilable differences" and it is thought that the musician has offered his soon-to-be ex wife a settlement of £20 million.
