Harvey Weinstein weds girlfriend

Top Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein has married his long-term girlfriend Georgina Chapman, media reports have suggested.

The 55-year-old is thought to have said 'I do' on Saturday, December 15th in a ceremony held at his home in Connecticut, only one month after he proposed to his partner.

British designer Chapman reportedly designed her wedding dress herself. The couple are said to have been extremely happy on their wedding day, when they were joined by various celebrity guests including Rupert Murdoch, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, director Quentin Tarantino and actresses Cameron Diaz, Renee Zellweger and Naomi Watts.

"The wedding was the most elegant, loving affair I've ever seen. The room was full of incredible people who were there to toast the couple, who looked totally in love," a source told People magazine.

"Harvey looked the happiest he's ever looked. Georgina was absolutely glowing".

This is the second marriage for Weinstein, who has been in a relationship with Chapman since 2005. He was previously married to Eve Chilton Weinstein but the couple got a divorce in 2004.

Weinstein is the co-chairman of Miramax. He has been the executive producer of many hit films, including True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Lord of the Rings and The Aviator.
