Family Christmas battle for Chris Tarrant

TV personality Chris Tarrant and his estranged wife Ingrid are at odds about who their children will spend Christmas Day with.

Tarrant, 61, and his spouse separated in September 2006 when it transpired that he had been conducting an affair with a female teacher for ten years.

The couple appeared to have separated amicably, but now it seems that they are warring over their two children.

According to the Daily Mail, the Who Wants to be a Millionaire presenter has asked that Toby, 15, and 18-year-old Samantha are with him over the festive period but they want to be with their mother and Tarrant thinks that his soon-to-be ex-wife has turned them against him.

A source told the paper: "Chris is reading into that situation that Ingrid is instilling all this hatred in the children. But the children are all old enough now to think for themselves. They are not babies any more.

"They have all witnessed the very public breakdown of their parents' marriage and they have taken their own sides."

Tarrant also has two children from his first marriage.
