No one quite seems to know how much money Heather Mills wants from her estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney or how much he wants to give her, but it seems that the former model has offered her soon-to-be ex spouse with an ultimatum.
According to media reports, Mills has asked for a £50 million settlement from Sir Paul by today (Friday, October 19th) or else she will see him in divorce court.
The 39-year-old former model is said to want to take the matter to a public court, which will not only be expensive but will also ensure that the couple will have to air their grievances regarding the breakdown of the relationship - which Macca is reportedly keen to avoid.
A source told the Daily Mail: "Heather has demanded that her lawyers contact Paul's legal team to say they have a deadline of [today].
"If they do not agree to the settlement she will give the green light to slug it out publicly. Heather has been saying it is not in Paul's best interest to go to court by reminding him of the cards she is holding.
"A lot could come out in court and she could publicly destroy his reputation."
Beatles legend McCartney and Mills married in 2002 and have a three-year-old daughter together but split in 2006 as a result of "irreconcilable differences".
