Disneyland fun for French president

Nicolas Sarkozy may have been warned by his mother to steer clear of marriage after his recent divorce, but that clearly won't prevent the president of France from having a bit of fun.

The politician was seen having fun in Disneyland Paris with his new girlfriend Carla Bruni, an Italian heiress and supermodel who has previously dated top British rockers such as Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger.

Sarkozy, 52, was also accompanied by his son Lois, ten, whose mother is the president's ex-wife Cecilia. Bruni brought along her son Aurelien, six. In what was their first public outing together, the couple were seen watching the Mickey Mouse parade at the theme park.

It is thought that Bruni is going to celebrate her forthcoming 40th birthday by spending the weekend with her new man.

Sarkozy divorced from his second wife two months ago and French media dubbed him the most eligible bachelor in Europe. He is the country's first president to go through a divorce while in office.
