A range of wedding dresses inspired by outfits worn by female Disney characters has been unveiled to the public in the US.
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Collection was displayed over the weekend at Solutions Bridal Designer House in Florida and features 34 "princess-inspired gowns".
The collection's outing in Florida is the first date in a national tour of the dresses, which moved to a new display location in Cleveland today.
Speaking about the dresses, designer Kirstie Kelly said: "Instead of taking a replica of her [the princess's] costume, it was really about making sure that princesses are represented by mood and that those moods and those personalities are personalities that women can identify with today.
"When you take a look at the gowns, you'll find that there's nothing 'costumey' about them whatsoever."
The success of the dresses, including a strapless umber inspired by Sleeping Beauty, is yet to be determined, but those women who made their way to view the fairy tail frocks on Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th seemed pleased with what they saw.
After trying on one of the dresses Dena Kirkland, 21, said: "It's so new. That's one of the draws. No one else has it."
