Cheryl Cole lays down rules for wayward husband

British singer and WAG Cheryl Cole has issued her husband Ashley with five rules in a bid to save their troubled marriage.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 23-year-old was shocked after being told that the footballer had slept with other women and that he had offered one an abortion after she had a pregnancy scare.

The Girls Aloud star has told her spouse that he has to come up with one romantic gesture at least once every two weeks, spend more "quality time" with her, stop spending time with friends who might lead him astray, always keep in contact with her and avoid drinking or going on big nights out for the next two months.

A source told the paper: "Cheryl has been absolutely rocked by Ashley's betrayal and the manner in which it has come to public attention. She came up with the plan to pull Ashley back in line and make sure he never makes the same mistake again.

"As well as demanding he pull out all the stops in the romance stakes, she wants to monitor exactly who he hangs out with, and when he hangs out with them. But Ashley is by no means out of the woods just yet - there is a lot of grovelling still to be done."
