Charlie Sheen unable to stop ex-wife's reality show plans

Actor Charlie Sheen has failed in his attempt to prevent his former wife Denise Richards from allowing their children to appear in a reality TV show

Actor Charlie Sheen has failed in his attempt to prevent his former wife Denise Richards from allowing their children to appear in a reality TV show.

The divorced couple are currently involved in a custody battle over their two young children, with yesterday's (January 22nd) hearing in a Los Angeles court focussing on Richards' reality TV plans.

During the hearing, a court official gave permission for the three and two year-old children to appear in her planned show, but with certain unspecified restrictions in place.

Though no official comment was made on the outcome of the meetings, TNZ reported that the 36-year-old actress was "very happy" with the ruling.

Richards married Sheen, aged 42, in 2002, after the couple had met on the set of a TV show a year before.

However, Richards filed for divorce early in 2006, with the end of their marriage being confirmed in November of that year and the custody struggle continuing ever since.
