Britney Spears' boyfriend to divorce?

Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo boyfriend of troubled US singer Britney Spears, is set to get a divorce.

The Associated Press has reported that Ghalib's wife of four years, Azlynn Berry, has filed for a legal separation in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their split.

Court papers revealed that Ms Berry has asked for spousal support and for Mr Ghalib to pay her legal fees. It has been speculated that Spears has been pushing Birmingham-born Ghalib to divorce his wife so that she can marry him instead.

In a recent interview with US news programme Entertainment Tonight, Mr Ghalib expressed his feelings for the popstar.

He said: "A lot of people perceive to know or understand her, she's the most photographed woman in the world. But if you take time to scratch the surface, then you can understand how amazing she is."

Spears was previously married to dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children. She was also married to her high school sweetheart Jason Allen Alexander for just 55 hours in 2004.
