Amy Winehouse's short marriage heading for divorce?

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse married her partner Blake Fielder-Civil last May, and now it seems that the pair's relationship is rapidly going downhill.

That is according to Winehouse's father Mitch, who has claimed that his son-in-law has asked the songstress for a divorce.

Fielder-Civil, who is currently on remand at London's Pentonville Prison for attempting to pervert the course of justice and on a charge of GBH, has reportedly told his 26-year-old wife that he wants a marital separation.

Mr Winehouse, 57, believes that his Fielder-Civil is being persuaded to ask for a divorce by his mother.

He told Grazia magazine: "Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row. Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said. I think Georgette wants them to divorce, but it's up to them. From Amy's point of view, she would stick by him not matter what. But he has said things like, 'I want a divorce'."

Back to Black singer Winehouse recently enjoyed a holiday with her former boyfriend George Roberts, a music manager.
